Project Manager in OPM Support

BAE Systems Hägglunds is in an expansive phase and our projects are growing! With new billion-dollar deals, we now need to strengthen our project management function within OPM Support with an additional colleague!

You will become part of our group of Operations and Supply Chain Project Managers (OPM).

This means responsibility for bids and project execution of the production parts in the support business.

Your Future Challenge

Are you looking for a position that is varied and rich in content, where no two days are alike, and where you switch between the office, conference room, production, and customer contacts? Then you have the perfect opportunity here. In this role, you will meet and get to know our customers, suppliers, and partners located in Sweden and Europe.

Your task in the bidding process and project execution will be to lead your own project group within production to ensure that the production parts are completed on time, to the right quality, and within budget.

You will be an active part of the company's overall project group where we work according to a developed project model. Your role in the group will be to ensure the contribution of production.

The role includes financial responsibility and business travel.

Who You Are

Your strength is communication, creating good relationships, and building long-term networks. You are goal-oriented and in a structured and careful way, you lead yourself and others. You have good leadership skills and understand what it takes to engage and lead a group towards a common goal.

You should be able to demonstrate experience in leading, distributing, and following up. A merit is if you have experience in project management in some form, and it is a plus if you have experience in leading projects externally with partners and suppliers.

You must enjoy working in a project format. You may have project-related education, and if you have an academic background, it is an asset. It is a requirement that you have good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
